Written by a person
Articles are written by Jessica Steffy, drawn from our own family’s real days. We may use tools to research or tidy drafts, but the memories, the voice, and the judgment are human, and accountable to a real name.
Honest by default
We don’t dress up family life to look more perfect than it is. If a season was hard, or a tradition fizzled out, or a milestone came with tears instead of joy, we say so.
Affiliate independence
Commercial relationships (see the affiliate disclosure) never decide what we write. Anything we mention is something our family actually used or considered.
